Not that i'm aware of, although it would be really cool if I could take my current hosts webmail and apply a Gmail theme/skin to it :)

for personal use: you can use gmail, just set your mail to forward, then in gmail options you can set it so you can send mail from your @domain
also, if you are giving away accounts @yourdomain, you can try
https://www.google.com/hosted/Home
hope this helps

While still in beta, it is possible to set up Hotmail as your web client, with emails on your domain... It is part of the whole Windows Live Mail thingy, with the new AJAX interface...
I can't find the link just about now, but it pops up every time I log in to my hotmail account... I'll post it the next time I log out and log in.
You need to be registered as a US user and have opted for the Live beta interface to be allowed this, I think. I'll post more details as I get them.
UPDATE: The link: http://ideas.live.com/ and then onto Windows Live Custom Domains... Apparently you need to change the MX records for your domain. (http://domains.live.com/FAQ.aspx)

It's also possible to do the same with Gmail, but as all things Google, there is a wait time (invite!)
I have a beautiful bridge app for horde, that allows users to log on to webmail, without accessing cPanel, so far it's worked flawlessly, and it resembles hotmail or yahoo mail.
And yes, I would share it, I didn't write it, but I've hacked it a bit.

You can read about it there, and download the script, it's fairly easy to set up.

after i submit my log in info
i got this message :(
404 Not Found
The requested URL /mailTG9naW4gZmFpbGVkL2FjY2VzcyBkZW5pZWQu does not exist.
any idea how to solve !!
i adjusted settings.php properly
Make sure in settings.php you have the following:
$cpanel_url = 'http://localhost:2095';
$horde_path = '/horde';
Your port for cPanel may be different than mine, but mine is 2095 you can look at your cPanel port by simply logging onto your cPanel, and looking at the URL.

I don't know if this application might be along the lines you or anyone else is looking for but I find it works nicely and prefer it to the options supplied by bluehost.

It's like having your own webmail service.

Soon enough I will be writing a RoR AJAX webmail script.
I'll let you know when it's done!

Does everyone know that webmail is enable on your domain by default as: http://yourdomain.com/webmail/ which redirects to http://yourdomain.com:2095/ then you use the full email address/password to get in. Then a user can change forwards, etc and also select which of the three webmail interfaces they want to use.
