Can anyone help me with installing media wiki. I tried to install media wiki on an addon domain but after I finish setting up the database it doesnt let me do the localsettings. I moved it the main directory like I was supposed to. But when I go to it, it says "This is part of the mediawiki system but is at the wrong location". Can someone help me I upgraded my PHP for the sole purpose of using mediawiki an im kinda bumbed that I went through the trouble of upgrading my PHP and i cant even install the stupid thing. I tried looking though the file and reading the discussion in the installation guide but i couldnt find anything.

I have read the last few posts on this and would like one of the success stories to explain with a little more detail how they were able to get the Media Wiki (Wikipedia Style) working at Blue Host.

Thanks,

What is so difficult about it? Is this the e107 site that you have or another? I am looking for the traditional wikipedia looking version. Have you set up a old school wikipedia type of wiki? What part of Florida are you in?

just the default theme. It is the exact wikipedia theme. Keep in mind Media Wiki is not a CMS. E107 is a CMS, there is a big different. Just follow the installation guide and you will be fine. It is really easy to install.
