Joomla 1.0.11 released on 8/28

Hello,

Does anyone know when Fantastico is updated and will carry the latest Joomla (Joomla_1.0.11-Stable-Full_Package.zip) update?

I have a number of clients who will need this security fix and would appreciate any news on when the update will be available?

I don't believe Blue Host has any influence over when Fantastico will get to it. But all you need to do is download the appropriate upgrade package and replace the files. It took less than 2 minutes by ftp for my sites.

As you are probably aware this is purely a security update. It's not even imperative if you have ...
# Register Globals = `OFF`
# Magic Quotes = `ON`

... though you should still do it as soon as possible. Also if you setup the mod-rewrite correctly in your .htaccess file the recent attacks should not be effective.
