cPanel panes moving around randomly

I had a Live Chat session today regarding a problem that I've been having for about the past week with cPanel:

Bob Barr: [3:43:54 PM] Yes. This has been happening for about the past week.

Sean: [3:53:39 PM] I'm not sure why this would happen, Bob. It isn't a known issue from what I can find out. If you'd like, you can submit a ticket and our senior technicians might be able to further look into this.

Is anyone else encountering a similar problem and have you submitted a ticket on it?

I submitted a ticket a few days ago (to Hostmonster) and they said they are working on it. On my cPanel the panes for Partners, Promotional and SEO tools always move to the top.

EDIT: I just reorganized it, logged out, and then logged back in. The changes seemed to take. I'll check again tomorrow to see if they held that long.

Maybe I'm a pessimist, but in my opinion, this is intended behavior to keep the "ads" atop the "tools". I've been burying and hiding that junk for years, now all of a sudden it's in my face and no longer under my control.

I'd like to believe it's a glitch. But I dunno...

Those three keep moving to the top for me too. While it is a relatively minor problem, it's more than a bit irritating.

You're right - I just checked now (12 hours later) and it's back to the Partners and Promotional windows on top, albeit minimized.

I agree with Bob. It's a minor issue but rather irritating if you are logging in and expecting to see the interface you've so carefully arranged. ;)
