View Full Version : Unique email problems with Outlook

I have several different accounts with Bluehost. One of my accounts was going to expire so I decided to migrate the websites to another account. The migrations went well and everything is working fine except one thing...email with Outlook. I have triple checked the settings and they are correct. I can even access the email through webmail.

My clients are blowing up my phone and I can't figure out a fix. I have been on LH with Bluehost support, and as usual they were awesome. But they couldn't figure out the issue since the mail was being routed properly on their end. Outlook keeps prompting me for a password. I put in the correct password, and it doesn't take.

Has anyone else encountered this issue and if so, how did you remedy it? Thanks in advance.

I'm sure that you've already reviewed the obvious but do you have the settings for the incoming and outgoing mail servers entered correctly, including the ports?

I did this a couple of years ago (combined two accounts into one) and had the same issue until I realized that my port settings were incorrect (I believe they differ from the default).
