How do I add a background image to my Wordpress blog.

I am not tech savvy but follow instructions well and am not afraid to touch code.

I would love to be able to frequently change the background of my blog according to the current events of the day. I have located the "background" area in my File manager but just can't figure out how to accomplish this task. Any help/instruction would surely be appreciated. I also create my own images easily in Corel Photo X2.

In Wordpress backgrounds are controlled by the theme that you are using. You will need to consult the documentation that came with it for the answer. Just installing a file somewhere will not cause it to be used.

backgroud images are written in CSS. If u want to replace it go to themes then images and replace the background image. If u want to add new, then u need to know CSS.
