I tried to access my website from a computer at an educational service center today that had Sophos anti-virus software and this is the message I got blocked due to malicious content mal/Iframe-v. I looked it up from sophos and this (http://www.sophos.com/security/analyses/viruses-and-spyware/maliframev.html?_log_from=rss) is the description.

I updated my scripts which I had one wordpress, a joomla and a couple of moodles.

Here at home I am getting no objections although I don't run sophos at home. I do run Norton Internet Security.

My question is, did updating the scripts to current versions take care of the virus or are there some other steps I should take in this matter? Thanks for any insights.

Yeah, I read that one. So my scripts are now up to date and my computer is clean according to norton internet security - so I am assuming I am clean?

All you can really do is keep up to date with your scripts and maintain a clean computer. But the hackers out there have more resources and time than you do, and you can be sure that they are working on new exploits.

When this happens, it is usually one of 2 things. Either your home computer is infected with virus and they got your ftp info, or you used a plugin/theme from an unreliable source and they exploit it. Try to go through the source of your page and find the iframe or encoded lines.
