I have my current website in a folder called index_files. EG: http://mem-umc.org/index_files. Since http://mem-umc.org is the main domain name, I simply set Bluehost to redirect to the index_files folder. So http://mem-umc.org opens the site in index_files and it works just fine - for many years.
I have a new Wordpress site in a similar folder, mem-umc. Access this new site via http://mem-umc.org/mem-umc works just fine with that URL. So I plan on just setting Bluehost to redirect to the new site in mem-umc folder so that the domain name, http://mem-umc.org will open that Wordpress site in mem-umc. I tested it and it seems to work just fine.
I don't see any reason for a sub-domain for this WordPress site. Does anybody see a problem?
