mail problems

Hi,

I'm having problems with my buddypress registration process.

members are not receiving their verification emails and therefore cannot sign up with my site. www.pinhit.com

I've had bluehost support look over and they've suggested I post on the wordpress site which I have.

I've had some responses from wp forum members who suggest using an appropriate 'plugin' to resolve the issue, but having mulled over some of the poor feedback regarding the usage of these plugins I'm not sure what action I should actually take to solve this registration/verification issue.

Anyone had the same problem..? if so did you get it fixed..?

Have you tried this yourself with a test user yet?

Also, has the email address that is sending the mail actually been created?

Indeed the actual email address has been created in cpanel email section

I've tried 3 plugins, and about 10 test user runs..none of which worked unfortunately :(

Have you checked your spam folder or the person that is receiving the email to see if it's being caught there? I have had cases in testing where gmail flags it as spam because of the embedded links.

Yes I have checked for confirmation at the other end as the registry test runs were done using my own personal email accounts.
Checked the spam folder also and no verification mail is being sent.

Try registering a test user with an email address that is your domain on Bluehost. Create it in the cPanel. If that doesn't show up then you have a problem with buddypress that would have to be resolved at their site, or there is a problem with your Bluehost email and you can have Bluehost support look at the mail logs to see what happened.
