need help to update WordPress

I am beginer with a lot of frustrations ! I am new ( 2 days ) to bluehost and I am thinking to ask for a refund ! Nothing works !

First : I asked help with chat department. Not helping at all. Maybe here....

I would like to update new version of WordPress.

and are requesting these infos :

Hostname
FTP Password

do you know where I can find those information ?

How are you trying to update WordPress? The regular update link within WordPress itself does not ask for that information.

Also BlueHost provide web space and have nothing whatever to do with WordPress and so can no more support WordPress than they can the billions of alternatives to WordPress that you could be using instead.

To answer the question as to what the values should be for hostname and FTP password - hostname would be either your domain name or the eight character account name of your account and the FTP password would be the same password as you use to log into cPanel.
