Is there any way I can set up a NoSQL solution on my Bluehost server? Preferably Redis, but I wouldn't be opposed to MongoDB or couch.

Thanks!

BlueHost provide a choice of mySQL or posgreSQL. If you want a different database to those two you will need to look elsewhere.

If you want to install your own database you will need either VPS or dedicated hosting as it cannot be done on shared hosting.

just curious if mongodb support is in the works at some point? i see that it is currently not supported, but at some point offering a nosql solution would be nice. i'd like to get away from both php and mysql and python and mongodb are a great direction, for me atleast. i'd rather not start using another host, as i'm pretty happy with BH. plus dedicated hosting is almost 10x as much money, if not more. seems like a huge leap for me in order to just run a simple associative db.
any insight would be welcome
