what should I do to use my adon domain with Word Press ?

Hello I have an account with WORD Press with my primary domain name and I just bought a addon name...

How can I start to built my new web site ( with my addon domain ) with Word Press under my addon domain? ( when I log, it is under my primary domain ) Do I have to open a new Word Press application for my addon domain ?

The easiest way to accomplish what you want is to install a new copy of Wordpress to your addon domain. Yes, there is a folder by that name under your primary domain, but the smoke and mirrors will let you see this in a web browser as www.addondomain.com, completely separate from your primary domain setup.

When you install the new copy of Simple Scripts through the cPanel, choose the addon domain as the installation point. If you want WP as the only thing running there, then leave the directory entry box empty. If you want to see it as www.addondomain.com/myblog, then add myblog in the box next to the addon domain name after you select it.

it is always wise to give a meaningful name for the folder for your addon domain. this will help you keep your files organized when you have already added 20 or more domains.. just sharing my experience ;)
