Morning all,
Firstly I apologise for my lack of technical knowledge....I hope this post will make some sense.
I seem to have a problem with certain characters in Wordpress at the moment. The reason I'm asking in this forum is that I'm not sure if it's a Bluehost or Wordpress problem.
Basically, I'm using a plugin to pull product information from another site, but certain characters seem to be 'messing up'. For instance, the word paté on the original site will appear as patĂ when pulled across. Anything with an apostrophe also seems to have a problem, for instance don't appears as donÂ't
I've checked my PC settings and they are showing the encoding as UTF-8. I'm currently using WP v3.1.3. I've had a look on Google and followed some instructions, but it's still doing the same.
I did find this Bluehost page https://my.bluehost.com/cgi/help/resource/360?resource_id=360&step=resource but it doesn't show the actual line detail.
I'm absolutely out of ideas, so I'm hoping someone here may have had the same issue and found a resolve.
Cheers all,
Kev B
