I posted this as a reply in my old topic but I don't think anyone saw it so...

I wanted to know...

does bluehost support SourceGuardian (ixed) loaders/files? It's because the scripts I have that require SourceGuardian isn't working on my forum.

I also have this script that shows if my shoutcast radio is online (the radio is being hosted by a different host) and that script is also not working.

Does bluehost support any of these scripts? (sorry I'm not exactly sure what they're called).

Pretty much the reason why I transferred my host was because my previous host doesn't support it anymore. they used to but now they don't (don't really know why).

Here are the links to the scripts if you need to know what they are:

Ones with SourceGuardian:

please anyone? sorry to bump this topic but I posted a reply, this new topic and emailed bluehost and so far I've been waiting for so long with not a single reply. I don't want to call b/c I might end up saying the wrong thing since I'm not sure what these scripts are called (just know it involves SourceGuardian).

I think you need a dedicated IP.

I wasn't able to look at the script for the shoutcast radio (need a login), but I suspect that the way it is trying to determine if your shoutcast radio is online is by opening a port to the shoutcast server and checking it. Unless you have a dedicated IP you can't open open ports other than port 80 or 443.

Concerning SourceGuardian, I suspect its the same thing. I see where scripts can be licensed. Are these scripts that you have licensed to you? if so does sourceGuardian have to open a connection to another server to validate your license?

Sorry I can not give you a definative answer. Maybe you can find out for certain if those scripts are trying to open connections.

I know for sure the shoutcast radio does that... arrghh...

for SourceGuardian, I'm not sure about the license but it's available for anyone and it worked before without one. I'm suppose to upload the SourceGuardian loaders in my website and the script is suppose to detect it but I'm guessing it can't recognize the file.

I guess I should try to find a similar script that doesn't require sourceguardian ^-^"
