Itunes 7

Now I just recently upgraded to the new version of iTunes for PC – iTunes 7 – and the new version of QuickTime. They are complete pieces of crap. For about 75% of the people who use it, the audio starts bugging out and crackling. You have to restart the app in order to fix the problem but that usually doesn’t work, and this has to be done anywhere from every 10 seconds to 10 minutes. What seems to especially trigger it is when you play any other audio source. Now keep in mind that there are some people this doesn’t happen to but for most it does and its only for the PC version as far as I know. I am also completely sure its not because of the system running it because this also happens to myself and the specs of my computer are as follows:

AMD Athlon 64 X2 4400+ Dual Core
2gb of Ram
2x 512mb Nvidia cards in SLI


Hopefully Apple will release a fix soon but until then I suggest NOT upgrading if you are on a PC.

It is extremely unstable btw so dont play video games while listening. It crashes with even the most stable games.

You know, I was just thinking more about this. Does anyone know if Apple has released any official statement about it? I have seen the problem written about on many third party sites but nothing from apple.
