Are all the fantistico features free to install, like simple machines :) we dont have to pay for that do we? Excluding bluehost bills:confused:

Yes, all the goodies in Fantastico are free.

But, using Fantastico as an install can cause problems. I like to use Fantastico to make a sandbox to try things out. Once I settle on a program or CMS or whatever, I make my own install.

Yes! what bobdog said!!! Fantastico is a nice way to test drive but it tends to cause problems later. Installing it yourself is generally pretty fast and is still free :)

I've installed everything using Fantastico (2 Wordpress blogs, 2 Joomla sites and 2 Coppermine galleries) and have never experienced any problems. But it's recommended that you upgrade to the latest version right after installation because Fantastico's software is always some versions behind.
