Is anyone else experiencing problems with cron jobs. All of mine quit working Thursday AM. They worked for over a year, and then just quit. Is anyone else experiencing problems?

Ok, I have had a ticket in with Bluehost about this now Since Friday. I got one email from them asking me how I knew they where not working. The response to that is the pages are not running, and I am not receiving the emails anymore.

Here is what I have done.
1- Verified that all the pages work that the cron job runs. I loaded each one of them in the browser, and they work.

2- Removed all my cron jobs and then re-added them. This did not fix the problem.

3- Went to an old backup file, and verified that all current files are the same. I looked at all the .something files in my root home directory. I also verified the files in the tmp directory.

Since bluehost is not helping on this one, can someone give me some more info on what to do.

There is a /cron/ directory on the backup that has one file in it. If I view the contents of the file, it has all the con jobs listed. I don't have SSH access, so I can't verify the permissions, etc on the file.

Any suggestions would be appreicated.....

I hate to think that this is the same problem after a whole week; but, I have set up a cron job to run... and I have yet to receive email notification that it has run (it should have run every 15 minutes)...

Does anyone know more info about the state of cron jobs at bluehost?

Amazing! I am not getting emails of confirmation nor emails telling me that it isn't working!

When did you try to run it?

Sorry, I should of updated this post. I called bluehost and was told that Cron was not running. They restarted it and everything started working again.
