Subversion setup

Greetings, all. I'm new to Bluehost, having migrated from a provider that had severe uptime issues.

I'm trying to set up Subversion for use by myself and a couple of colleagues for a small project we're working on. I have Subversion installed in $HOME/bin (following directions posted in this forum). It's working fine. My issue is how I give my colleagues access to the codebase. I need a URL they can point to, but there is no URL to $HOME/bin, and I haven't found a way to remap to it.

Any guidance will be appreciated.

I'd like to know a positive answer to this as well - someday maybe the fantastico could handle this the way it sets up all that other stuff.
