Anyway:
Whenever I try to use the gallery2 search feature, i get this error
500 Server Error
A misconfiguration on the server caused a hiccup. Check the server logs, fix the problem, then try again. URL: http://iir.krisp.jp/harupro/main.php
But I totally can't find any relevant error logs anywhere.
The ones in the gallery2 directory don't contain any errors within the last 2 weeks, and the only other error things that pop up from the control panel are one from the mysterious "main error log" (dont know where that is):
[Thu Mar 2 21:58:33 2006] [error] [client 131.113.63.244] Premature end of script headers: /home/crypticf/public_html/iir/harupro/main.php
but that one comes up all the time harmlessly (i assume this is a quirk about gallery)
And the SUEXEC error_log
[2006-03-02 21:58:32]: info: (target/actual) uid: (crypticf/crypticf) gid: (crypticf/crypticf) cmd: main.php
[2006-03-02 21:58:33]: info: (target/actual) uid: (crypticf/crypticf) gid: (crypticf/crypticf) cmd: 500.php
Frustrating because I can't find any error information other than "it didnt work."
Anyone know where to find more detailed error messages?
Does anyone else use Gallery2 and have experience with success or failure of the search function? Any idea what causes this error?
I noticed that if I turn debug-mode on, I don't get the error (which is rather annoying snag, because it's obviously much trickier to diagnose the problem without being able to go into debug mode), so I also posted to the Gallery2 forums (http://gallery.menalto.com/node/45389), but they didn't have any idea -- though i did hack together a bandaid-style solution where i can put it in debugmode and suppress the debug output, but this isnt really a satisfactory solution. Anyone, please?
