I'm just curious... for some time now, BlueHost has offered a "new look" format to the cPanel page. However, if you click on one of the links, go to that new page, and then click home, it reverts back to the old look. Same thing happens when you close one of the webmail applications.
Does BlueHost plan to choose one or the other or perhaps poll its members as to which interface they prefer? Not that it keeps me holed up in a darkened room in my house, peeking through the blinds for what's outside... :p

When I first signed up I tried the "new look" too and ran across it doing the same thing, reverting back to the other version. I just stick to using the "old look", I guess. :D

Yeah, I noticed that too. They should set a cookie when customer chooses an (old look or new look) option, then divert accordingly whenever he/she logs in or clicks a 'home' link.
I prefer the new look and have created a shorcut for it next to the address bar on my browser. So instead of clicking home, I just click that.

I use the old look. That's how it was when I signed up, and I'll continue to use it until they take it away! :D

I think they should convert everyone to the new look and take away the old look. I was used to the old look, but the new look is just set up better and makes sense.

This would mean no end of complaints.
It would also require some serious cpanel hacking work to get it to do anything fancy like auto-choosing one for you, otherwise I would have probably done it.

Shame, the new look is much better but I'm basically forced to use the old one from the links.

Just open your Cpanel, change the look to the new one and bookmark it. Then when you open the bookmark you will be prompted for your site id and password.
Done deal. :D

That works except that, even after doing this, when you click on HOME in the header menu, it takes you to that page in the old format. My original question was more related to whether BlueHost was going to choose one format over the other.
I liked the suggestion that walker makes to just make a link in your address bar and instead click on that. Still... ah, it's small potatoes.
