I've added a new site a while ago but when ever I go to edit it in my file manager the url for some reason has my old one and my new one mixed together.

For example

www.fukuokafishingadventures.com in my filemanger looks something like this......

/ public_html / (Current Folder) that part is ok.....

but after I made a new site called www.fishingjapan.net and added the folder in my filemanager it looks something like this.....

/ public_html / fishingjapan / (Current Folder)

but the part I don't get is this.......if I hit for example the index.php file of the forum the url looks like this.....

http://www.fukuokafishingadventures.com/fishingjapan/index

What I want is for people who want to fukuokafishingadventures they'll go to that and if people want to go to fishingjapan then well you get my point.

Ok now you know what I mean I hope, what is wrong with this? all I want is to have 2 seperate sites that are not related to each what so ever, does this mean I have to buy a whole new account then? I thought bluehost could support upto 6 domains. I'm confused and would love some help/disscussion on this.

Thanks,

Nigel

Well, that's just how it works. You'll be able to get to the fishing japan site though both links. This is probably fixable using some rewrite rules. I've never tried that though.

Hi,
i'm surprised you got just one reply.
If i understand your issue correctly, then all you need is to go to your control panel and setup a add-on domain for the new site. (i use 5 domains on 1 account)
I assume you have the new name registered somewhere else(not bluehost), you will need to point the dns to bluehost servers.
there are instructions in the cp how to do this.
If you don't understand it you can ask support or email me i can explain deeper. Its not difficult.
You could also do URL-rewrite(i did), but that's pretty advanced, besides thats what the add-on domain actually does automaticaly.
Hope this helps
