I was wondering if Bluehost is currently discussing Oracle Linux or not. If you are not aware, Oracle has decided to start supporting a Red Hat (Bluehost's OS) compatible Linux distribution and is doing it for less money than Red Hat. It will be very interesting to see where this goes. I think it can work at well for Bluehost.
I think it is also interesting to hear the recent cooperation between Novell and Microsoft. Do you guys have any thoughts on all this?

You know I read something about Microsoft and Novell doing something together. The headline said something about there being plans to help create solutions for windows programs to work with linux and the other way around...
Is there any truth to that or is that just the usual sensationalism?

Your question was so vague that I actually kind laughed. Like how when people say "Did you see that one movie with that one guy doing that one thing?". As for your question, the only thing that is confirmed is that Microsoft will not sue Novell for using Microsoft patents. Meaning there are no more patent violations and Microsoft will let Windows and Linux do stuff like share printers or whatever with less configuration and it will all be legal and stuff.
I saw the announcement when it was streamed and they were reluctant to give specific details or examples other than that they wouldn't sue over patents which is the big one. I think they were hinting at improving things like The Mono Project so that .NET software could run under Linux although the announcement wasn't talking about running Linux/Windows applications under the other's environment, but rather running Linux/Windows as a guest operating system on the other via Virtualization through Xen or a similar technology.
Companies seem to go under a strange curse whenever they partner with Microsoft and knowing Novell and their past failures it would be like giving a drug addict oxycotton and telling him all the benefits if it is used properly.
