in order to code any directory i use " Password Protect Directories" in cPanel

but it is not coded anybody open it without pass

does "Password Protect Directories" not run ?

If you do this it should work ...log on to your control pannel.. click password protect directories...click on the file NAME (note name not directory icon) you want to password.. follow the next pages instructions..ensure you tick the box marked "Directory requires a password to access via the web (you must check this to activate password protection)" Fill in user name and password details.

It should be passworded now. :D
