Hey I'm setting up a commerce store as a subdirectory. My problem is that when I go to sign up or hit my account it's reverting to the wrong section. I set up the redirection for the site but some things are not pointing to the correct areas.

here's my main site:
http://www.fishingjapan.net

and here's the subdirectory:
http://www.fishingjapan.net/tsurishop/

for some reason when I hit create an account it's going over to my other site. What should I do?

Here's a better idea of what is happening..........
http://www.fukuokafishingadventures.com/fishingjapan/tsurishop/create_account.php
ok right? now go the subdirectory link and hit create an account.

Thanks,

Nigelman

The problem is only with the secure pages... check the https settings in your configure.php files. :)

Yeah I'm not sure what I should do in that area? I looked at that file with the edit button but I really don't see anything that I should change?

Why is it the www. is missing? that seems to be the problem? I have nooooooooooo clue what to do

It would be helpful if you could post the relevant section from each of the config files.

does this help?

/ public_html / fishingjapan / tsurishop / admin / (Current Folder) (configuration.php)
obviously this is from my filemanager and you can see where it's in.

Hehe... you had me worried there for a moment... I thought you had left admin unsecured, but thankfully not.

No, that doesn't help... I need to look at the first block of defines in each of the files... includes/configure.php and admin/includes/configure.php... if you don't want to post it here, send it to me via PM or e-mail. Oh, and check you don't have a third configure.php in the includes/local folder. :)

Dudeeeeeeeeee thanks a million man, you were totally right and I found the errorzzzz!!!:) :) :) basically they were pointing to the wrong area and all I had to do was change the permission, edit the right url, save, check it (yes it's working) and rechange the permissions back to where they should be!!! Once again I'd like to personally thank you because this was driving me crazy all week. Now I just have to actually start to make the shop but atleast it's smooth now.

Cheers,

Nigelman:)

Hi guys
Installed osCommerce today.
Admin section works well. At least I think so.
But in the new user registration -- after submitting the form, it brings back to the same page.
Nothing happens further.
Please HELP.

It would help if you post your site address (PM or e-mail if you prefer, and I will take a look) :)
