View Full Version : Whole Office Just Re-Downloaded a Week's Worth of E-Mail

This morning when everyone came in to work, all of our e-mail clients (we're an office of about 20 people all running Macs with OS X) re-downloaded all the e-mail on the server for the last week. We all use POP and have the clients set to remove messages from the server after one week, so it appears that Mail re-downloaded every single message on the server that it could find. There is no difference in the headers between the old and "new" messages, and when checking webmail there's only one copy of everything. What could've caused this? This is the first (and hopefully only) instance of something like this happening since we signed up with Bluehost about 9 months ago.

Thanks.

me too, exceptionally frustrating and time consuming to re-delete all the emails again.

I've noticed that Horde is not showing any of my past messages or spam filters and basically, next to nothing. Is this temporary while you do whatever you are doing to the email system?

Thanks,
Mark
