my domain has not yet propagated to the nameservers and i don't feel like changing my dreamweaver settings twice so i'm just browsing the forum/community we have here and saying hello.

I'm developing a site currently that perhaps i will need help with since i'm just learning PHP 5 and mySQL. I'll be posting if I encounter any problems, but also just to share what I have done. Maybe I'll weasel my way into someone helping me program for a small percentage of my inevitable profit with e-commerce design LOL really i'm starting out with good ideas, and they need to happen. I'm doing whatever it takes to learn, and man there is a lot to learn about application development functionality and security and all that

I thought it was interesting that we can modify php.ini settings for each directory, i suppose the PHP has been installed CGI style rather than Apache style, since i've read Apache installations of php must restart Apache in order for php.ini changes to take effect. I also wonder about the scope, whether the php_ini_system changes can be made in each directory, or only the directives that are labeled php_ini_all. does anybody know?

anyway for some reason i have a headache. I rarely get headaches, but when I do, they are bad, so I will see y'all around in the rooms.

pete

oh yeah my website will be at u4ea.net (http://u4ea.net)

Just saying welcome to the community, not sure on the php.ini question though. Your site, is it pronounced "euphoria?"

Hi, Pete:

Welcome to BlueHost! I will add that I'm in the midst of learning and using those tools as well and I have found the forum to be an invaluable tool. So feel free to fire away with those questions!

Again, welcome! Very clever site name, BTW...

Fire away with the questions. It never hurts to ask............

I think in some matters that is is best to ask. In the case of your website i will be monitoring it's ip. sounds funny already.
And I usually get headaches from thinking about stuff, that really never needed a thought.
