I need assistance with your mail server, which has never worked properly for me. Using Neomail, all my junk mail sits at the root level of the webmail interface. (http://xx.xxx.xxx.xx:xxxx/neomail/neomail.pl)

Here are my problems:

(A) Apple’s OSX “Mail” application is set to delete all mail from the server upon receipt. This includes junk mail, but “Mail” can’t delete this stuff: it appears your server is ignoring the delete command. Therefore I have to login to NeoMail every day and manually delete hundreds of messages. I really need to have this fixed.

(B) I need to know how to inform your junk mail filter system that an email it has flagged as junk is not junk.

Thanks!

I can't speak for your first question since I don't use Neomail but to prevent a mail from certain addresses from being tagged as junk do this..

Go into your cpanel >mail>spam assassin>configure spamassassin>. and add in the addresses that are falsely being tagged as junk. You can be specific about the address or be more broad by using a wild card "*".

Example: jdoe@hisdomain.com will keep it white listed obviously but you can also add *@hisdomain.com to let all emails in without being tagged as junk from any address that end with @hisdomain.com.

You can also look here for more info. http://www.spamassassin.org/
