Greetings Forum members,
Is the phplist actually operational? I requested email installation details, however I never received these details via email. I have attempted to connect this service without the installation details without any luck:confused:

Phplist is working. I installed it using Fantastico installer (Sat feb 11) without any problems.
I could not install in the root directory, so I used phplist and then all went as advertised.

My PHPList no longer works (maybe never worked completely right). Right now it won't connect to the POP mail server to
send out messages to confirm opt-ins and when I try to check for bounces as well.

I'm having a hard time installing phplist. I keep getting this message: The installation can not be completed:

- You cannot install more than one script in the root directory of a domain.

But I don't think I'm trying to install more than one script in the root directory domain. I did try to install phplist manually via ftp but wasn't sure I did it right. Could this be the problem? Thanks for the help.

Fantastico does a quick check to make sure that you don't install more than one script that it offers in the same directory (which would be disasterous if it didn't do this check).
It currently thinks that you already have something installed in your public_html directory. A fix for this is to either find the script you installed and remove it or to specify a directory when you install it (should be right underneath the drop-down box asking you what domain you want to install it on).
If you're sure that you don't have any Fantastico script in your public_html directory, call/chat/ticket into Tech Support and they can remove the entry in Fantastico that is telling it that you have a script installed there.
