Whenever I think all the good programs in the world cost something, I find a free gem that knocks my socks off.

I haven't had so much luck in my search for an XP program to view raw/web logs. I have seen some that will pull down the logs right from http/ftp and another that updates do that it shows live info. Is there anything out there in Freeland that people are using that Google is not revealing?

Thanks!

Sorry I am not able to help you with your query, but I was wondering if you would be willing to share the names of the free gems that caused the knocking of your socks off. :)

I haven't had too much luck in that same department, so it would be nice to see what is out there. Actually, the one free gem that I feel is worth noting is a PDF creator called PRIMO PDF....http://www.primopdf.com/

And now that I think about it, the programs I use for maintaing my computer are free as well:

AVG Free Edition
Ad-Aware SE Personal
Ewido Anti-Spyware
Spybot Search and Destroy
Spyware Blaster

Overkill? Perhaps, but I've been burned too many times in the past so I make sure I have all bases covered now...and it doesn't cost a thing. =)

Cheers

I'm not sure how you want to show you the log files, but in the Control Panel you have Web/FTP Stats. There you can view with either Awstats (which is my favorite really) and Webalizer very neat statistics based on the server log. They do need to be activated from Stats Manager first though.
