I'm strongly considering signing with BlueHost but had some questions:

Any using Gmail or any other external e-mail host to run their mail: Does BlueHost support adding multiple MX and CNAME entries for each domain? I know the standard CPanel does not allow more than one to be set (although WHM does), and since BlueHost uses CPanel, I wanted to know if there was a way to set multiple entries or if I contact technical support would they set this for me?

Second, does BlueHost support SFTP? I would think this would go hand and hand with SSH, but I'd like to check.

Third, I noticed in the demo cpanel, it says I need to fax my driver's license for ssh access. Is this really true (rolls eyes)?

Finally, is there anything in the MySQL hosting you aren't happy with?

Thanks,
ApolloX

Can't answer the first questions since I don't use them, you should send an email or use the Live chat (check out the main page), you'll most likely get your answers pretty quick.

As for the MySQL part .. it's the best I've seen so far for me .. not a single problem so far.

You do have to fax a copy of your drivers license for shell access, not that it matters considering they don't know what you really look like.

Assuming you were able to set up GMail as an MX entry for your domain, does GMail allow receiving email for another domain this way?

Have you signed up for Google Apps For Your Domain, or do you have a regular GMail account?

Yes, google domain supports aliasing. For example, given one account me@something.com you can add aliases for me@something.org, or me@somethingelse.com. You just set up the MX entries identical for each domain and use the google domain settings manager to link the accounts.

It has to be a google domain account, regular g-mail accounts are unrelated.

As basil said, they do require you to fax in your drivers liscence. I know, its stupid, but after I faxed it in, I had shell access within an hour.
