I transferred a domain from godaddy this morning and we are still have issues of the domain resolving to the godaddy host and not our new bluehost host. We have tried cleaning out our cache, temp internet files, we've even done a ipconfig /flushdns

I submitted a ticket over an hour ago and it's still not showing up in the system, so this is my next choice. It is important since we host our ebay item photos on our website and we have plenty of items up that are relying on this. If anyone has any advice please let me know.

address: http://www.dnsmp.com it should go to a fairly fresh joomla install.

I also have noticed that http://dnsmp.com does resolve for the most part to the new host. But for some odd reason not 100%. By this I mean 15 minutes ago it wasn't, and now it is, yet other systems on the network are not resolving it to bluehost.

Hi, dsmachine:

I just checked the link and I do see what appears to be a fresh install of Joomla. Sometimes it takes time for domain transfers to take effect because it needs to "propagate through the system," whatever that means. :D

Give it another hour or two and I would imagine that everything will be working as expected.

The DNS server changes can take up to 24 hours to propagate over the internet (it simply is the time which takes for server to syncronise), just give it some time, it will update soon.

sounds good, seems like it's resolving correctly now.
