I have searched the FAQ. I have never had a domain before and need to learn how to set up the contact info in my email for my site(s) (have more than one).
is there a place for find out how to do this from scratch?
I appreciate anyone directing me to a place to find out how to do this.

not sure what you're asking. are you trying to create an email signature to go at the end of your emails, or just setting up an email address?

from step 0. don't understand why there are 3 (horde, squirrel, etc.?) and how do I "address" it?
meaning is there a default as in "INFO@mydomain.com" or "mail@mydomain.com". Or do I need to assign it or do some such thing.
how are the subdomains routed to the main, etc. I've seen a program for it, but don't want to open anything up for fear of really screwing things up (I've done it before, lol).
I've tried sending an e-mail to the site (don't even know how to link it from my site even) from isp e-mail or yahoo to no avail. mail-daimon just kicks it back. so, see? I'm clueless.
sigh.
thanks for any help whatsoever!:o
Carnna,
Please read these instructions from the cpanel instructions (http://bluehost.com/help/) first to familiarise yourself with the "how to" portion of this topic.
http://bluehost.com/help/emailAccounts.htm
http://bluehost.com/help/settingDefaultEmailAddress.htm
http://bluehost.com/help/readingYourEmail.htm
Please don't hesitate to request more detailed information if you still need it.
Also: if you are unfamiliar with the cpanel and your not sure about opening something, you can freely browse the demo cpanel here (http://www.bluehost.com/cgi-bin/cplogin?domain=blewhost.com&password=demotest) without damaging anything just to familiarize your self with the way it works.

1. Click on the Default Address link in the Mail area.

The ability to capture unrouted email has been shut off, because it was bogging down the system, so skip that step!
