 :(

Please help! Our website is down and we are out of business!!!! We cannot function without it! Emails too!

We just switched to Bluehost because we had similiar problems with another host, and the person that built ourwebsite about 3 years ago reccomended you guys. What is going on here? I cannot get through to customer service, or anyone at all for that matter. I try to call your toll free number and it's busy. I try to call your out of country number, and then dial 2 for service, and it says extension not available. Did you guys pack up and leave town or what? I would appreciate some immediate help!!!

Please contact me using the contact info you have. Phone is the best option!

I too have just been through the same thing. I opened a ticket last night and it was sorted by this morning. I needed to send them my current ip and trace.txt file.

To be fair to bluehost, Matt has said in his blog and many postings in the forum that they were not prepared for the great rush they have just had, but promoses that they are employing and training more staff so they can conyinue their great customer service.

Promising is one thing... delivering is another. Judging by Matts blog, he is very familiar with this concept. Come through for us Matt... PLEASE.

LOL!!! very true.

I have only been with BH a year and have no other experience with any other hosts, but i can honestly say that the guys here have helped me out big time.

When i 1st started a year ago i needed help with evryhting even down to FTP'ing. The support team were A1 and almost instant, but things have gone down hill a lil' bit recently. I am not slating BH as i trust that they will get things back on track soon, but i do understand how frustratin it can be when things are not working as they should.

It really sucks. I have experienced this exact problem to the T with other webhosts, and it never turns out well.

Both previous experiences went like this:

Sign up for hosting

hosting works great for about 6 months, then service startes to dwindle. Website starts going down often... more and more often. Support claims they are working hard to rectify the problem. "We have ordered a new server and will install it this week." Server installed... same problems. I have yet to see a hosting company rectify the problems that I am currently having. The sad thing is I've been with BH for about 2 weeks... or less.

My website is loading slow, but my FTP and Email are toast. 13 hours and counting, and still no fix.

I might connect 1% of the time, but it is 99% down.

I filed a ticket, but since my email is down, I have no clue what's going on. Cpanel is toast, so I can't check my email that way.

I am patient, but I have had websites for 7 years and never had an extended problem like this.

It got fixed for me: Funhouse (http://funhouse.bubble.ro) .. hopefully it won't happen again though .. it's really frustrating to see how many visitors you can lose (and VERY fast).

I've been with bluehost for years, but hav enoticed, as have many of my users, very slow emails off and on over the last couple of months. Is this all related to some promotional rush/ new clients/ overloaded servers and such?

thanks.
