Migrating from Wordpress to Drupal

Has anybody had any luck moving from wordpress to drupal? I know it's possible and there is a module for Drupal, but I don't know how difficult it is to do.

If anybody has any pointers, I'd appreciate it!

I don´t have specifics but there are a lot of people who have done it and there is great support in the drupal forum on converting. As Wordpress is one of the most common blog scripts the conversion shouldn´t be awfully complicated. J

Well I managed to make the switch. If anybody is interested in doing this, here is some info from Drupal (http://drupal.org/node/10900#comment-80124). I had to downgrade the wordpress database to 1.5 (from 2.0.2) to get the migration file to work properly. There is a link to the "downgrader" in the Drupal thread I linked to.

While upgrading Drupal to 4.6.6, the database didn't want to upgrade properly and took a few tries before it worked. Don't know why...

If you're going to do this back up everything before you start! I needed the database back ups a couple of times.
