redirecting from subdomain to a parked domain

i want to redirect myname.host.net >>> www.myname.com

www.myname.com is parked

i added the parked domain into my subdomain, then setup a redirect, but it ends up into an infinite loop like this

www.myname.com/myname/myname/.......

or when i tried something different it redirected like this

www.myname.com//////////

so you set www.myname.com/myname to your new domain, and then you set your new domain to www.myname.com why would you possibly find it wierd that its in an infinite loop?
