I have been using Frontpage 2003. I now have the Expressions Web trial version, but understand BH does not support ASP. Does anyone know if I can still use M$ by writing all the pages in HTML and not ASPX?

Would upgrade to Dreamweaver, except for the $99 great price from M$, and I am not a programmer.

Can't answer your questions, but you might want to check out Nvu (http://www.nvu.com), which is open source, free, and well-regarded.

(The only thing I know for sure is that BH doesn't support ASP, which requires a Windows server - BH is all Linux, and will probably remain so.)

I use Expressions Web when I need to to check layout etc in a WYSIWYG (I actually find it easier than NVU) but each to their own in that regard.

I haven't had any probs with code that I have created (but then I do copy across to crimson editor to check and fine tune it too), just steer clear of ASP and you should be fine.

I just wrote a review of Expressions Web. You don't have to code everything in ASP. You don't even have top use ASP (although I'm sure Mr. Gates would prefer it). It's also an editor that can be used just like any other editor.
