Alright, I want to add different domain names and I have a couple of questions:

Will I be able to protect each domain with a different password?

I would have to register a new domain from a domain provider, correct?

1. It's a real domain so you'll be able to treat it as one, including emails, password protections, etc.

2. You can. You can also register the domain from your control panel if I'm not mistaken.

Then what are the purposed of Add-On Domain, Sub Domain, and a Parked Domain.

An add-on domain is a real domain that is hosted in a directory of your main account. A sub-domain is also hosted in a directory of your main account but is not its own domain. So an addon can be different from the main account entirely, for instance www.myfirstdomain.com and www.mynewsite.org. But a subdomain would tack on to the original domain name. For instance www.myfirstdomain.com is the main site and forums.myfirstdomain.com is the subdomain.

A parked domain doesn't have its own space, and points to the main site. It can't be designed or developed as its own domain.

Hope that helps.
