Hiya,
On my site I'd like to offering streaming video of old boxing matches and interviews from the 1930s. I want to have a website visitor click on "Round 1" and have a new pop up open with the video inside. From what I understand, this will usually sidestep a firewall issue cuz the visitor has indicated their acceptance of the video by clicking on the link.

I've tried www.embedthevideo.com to get code but when I place it in my source page it works sporadically. I looked at Wimpy brand software and it seems promising but then I see how simple the coding is at embedthevideo and wonder if I need to buy anything at all.

I have plenty of decrypting, converting and editing software. I understand .html coding well and pretty well as to how .css files work, less knowledge of java scripting.

Any and all suggestions are welcome.
Thanks !

Personally, I like this one (http://www.jeroenwijering.com/?item=Flash_Video_Player) - makes some nice popups. I convert my videos to flv with another free util but you don't have to. It'll play about any video format and present a consistent look and feel for you.

There are literally hundreds of FLV players out there that you can use. Best of luck!

Wouldn't you know it, the only thing my converter doesn't convert to is .flv. Could you suggest a next best extension and pop up player please ?

Thanks,
Cat

Shouldn't need to keep searching... this one will play about any video format and present a consistent look and feel for you.
