Hi
I am sure I've had this working but now the emails are arriving (no bounce message etc).

I have an email forwarder setup. Also I have configured Outlook to smtp through bluehost for the forwarder email address, using the main bluehost mail account for the smtp auth.

However now emails aren't getting out. Is it ok to do this?

Basically I want to use gmail for the mailbox but send through bluehost.
thanks

Most web hosts require that you use your ISP for your outgoing(SMTP) mail.

HTH!

Mind you, I haven't actually tried this, but you *should* be able to create a real pop account, rather than a forwarder, (even if you don't receive email to it) and use it to auth your outgoing smtp connection.

Of course, you would want to set somethign up so that it doesn't get full. ;)
