Hiya All,
I have only been a Bluehost member for a couple of days and am still trying to find my way around. My nephew installed WordPress (as root application) and Coppermine for me. I prefer to have Coppermine as my root application so I removed both applications using Fantisico and then tried to re-instal Coppermine. I get an error message saying I can't have two scripts running in my root directory. Where do I go to clear out whatever script is causing this and just what should be displayed in there before I can instal Coppermine?
Cheers

Basicly start from scratch. Manualy remove all the installed stuff again and just leave the original rootfiles (php.ini, errorpgs etc). Bluehost staff can probably re-install these original root files for you.
Also remove all the databases, created for these programs.
Then try reinstalling coppermine, if u can, do it manually.(personaly i never use fantastico).

Thanks for that. Will contact Bluehost and ask them to clean up the root directory as I have no idea just what should be in there. I assume its the one under folder www.
Good to know there are folk to turn to when I get myself in a mess.

that what i hoped this forums would me about mostly. not the constant bitch'n how bad BH is. i'm so sick of that.
btw, the root folder for your website is public_html, just ignore the www, its the same thing.

Sorry I've been so long in replying. got carried away playing with the new site. Thanks for your help, Bluehost cleaned out my root directory and I re-installed Coppermine with no probs. There'll be no stopping me now.
