Ok, I am in search again for another, hopefully, free program to install on my server to use on my site. I have a fanart and fanfiction section of my website. Currently I use Haloscan to allow people to comment on what they read or the pictures they look at.
Now I LOVE haloscan to bits. Its easy to use, looks nice and has all the features I was looking for. The problem is that I do not wish to have to be at the mercy of a free hosted feature. If they go down my comments are down and if they close or get rid of my account for some reason I would be SOL.
That's why I would like to know if anyone here knows of a good PHP program I can install to allow people to place comments and to trackback that is close to the kind of program haloscan is. I do not run a blog and I only need this one feature. Anything else would be just a waste. I looked around a bit last night and did not come up with anything.
