how long does it take for fantastico to allow updates?

It's been about 6 days since WordPress realeased in update and was wonderin how long does it take before Fantastico will have the update available as the update deals with security issues.thanks in advance.

Drupal 5.0 is new too ...I just ask them to update Drupal 5.0....but ...they don't know yet.

The availability of updates through Fantastico, to my understanding, is not controlled by BH. FYI, I just went there today and saw that v2.1 for Wordpress is now available for installation.

Fantastico probably run their own tests on new versions to make sure that they are stable before updating the version to the latest one since people using Fantastico usually don't know enough about computers to know what to do if the new version has problems. If you don't want to wait for them to do their tests and just want the latest version straight away then the simplest solution is to download the software directly from the originating site and install it yourself. You get a lot more options with most software doing your own install rather than the Fantastico version anyway with a lot of the offered software even when Fantastico is right up to date because Fantastico will do a lot of the option selection for you to make the install easier and the options it chooses may not be what you want.
