Setting up Auto incrementing Fields in a PostgreSQL DB

Basic DB question: Can't figure out how to setup an auto increment field in our PostgreSQL DB through the interface that is provided by bluehost. Anyone know how this is done?

Contacted bluehost support and they said they know it can be done, but they don't know how.
