urg! I have having the hardest time figuring out what seems to be the simplest things!

I bought a *new* domain that I am hosting with my old domain. The new one is currently set up as a subdomain.

Right now the newdomain.com point to the public_html forlder for olddomain.com. How do I set it up so that the two domains DO NOT POINT TO THE SAME FOLDER?

To confuse matters more, the new domain is for a blog. I do not want readers to have to type in newdomain/olddomain.com. I want readers to simply type newdomain.com. any help?

delete it form the parked domains and add it as an addon domain.

originally I had it set up as a addon, but when I used Fantastico to install a Wordpress blog to the addon it only gave me the option of putting it in a folder titled "addon.domain.com"

If I do that, will it still allow people to type in addon.com and get the blog, or will they have to type addon.domain.com?

try adding the addon domain again because there should be an entry for your domain in fantastico as well as the subdomain addon.domain.com which is automatically generated by cPanel in BH's configuration.
