HI there,

I am experiencing some problems with my addon domain.

1. I run the addon utility from cPanel to add my domain. www.ianmcgrawphotos.co.uk so that it points to my subfolder 'eengine'
2. Entering www.ianmcgrawphotos.co.uk in a browser successfully serves up my website that is in my public_html/eengine folder.
3. After about an hour or so I try step 2 again and the browser reports an error as if the URL is totally invalid.

I can confirm that my domain ianmcgrawphotos.co.uk has the bluehost nameservers ns1.bluehost.com and ns2.bluehost.com configured against it.

Running a DNS report on the domain www.ianmcgrawphotos.co.uk seems to throw up some errors on the bluehost name servers

The support@bluehost.com don't seem to be too interested in the failure, they just keep telling me that the addon domain utility is working. I have followed the instructions so I can only assume there is a DNS issue somewhere. Interested if anyone else is currently trying an addon?

It's working for me... the only problem I can see is your search box which has jumped off the page...

nice design, BTW!

Thanks for you comments, much appreciated. Yeah I really must take that search box out of the div layer, only looks right on IE.

Well I can now say that after a couple of days trying to get my addon domain to direct people to the correct subdirectory, it now works. Happy now. :D

BTW have this all running on an Expression Engine CMS backend, can thoroughly recommend using this package.

It takes several days for domain names to propagate properly to all the domain name servers across the web and any newly set up or moved site wont always be found until that process completes.
