Hi,

I'm aware of the Terms of Use and everything. I'm just wondering whether they're considered as applying to a domain name. For example, if I registered a domain with a rude/risqué name, could I still host the site at Bluehost, considering that the content of the site itself contained nothing that broke the Terms of Use.

EG: rudedomainname.com which points to just a regular blog featuring no nudity or other sordid unpleasantness... would this be allowed?

I just love registering domain names.

I have a similar question. Can I host a website on BH similar to adult friend finder dot com?

Nothing explicit on the front, but in directory member's explicit pictures.

No, that is against the TOS and so is tom.bcn question

-[NO] Foul language and profanity in the site content, and in the domain name

Ok, so I guess if want to implement some of my other ideas Id have to look somewhere else...

But on BH, suppose someone posts some faul language or explicit photos on my forums. Sure Id remove it, but it takes at least 12 hours for me to find about those things. Am I voilating TOS in such a case?

thanks. I didn't see that bit. I guess my highly amusing domain name project will have to wait. It was a rubbish idea anyway.

As long as you remove it ASAP and you're not the one posting it, then you should be ok.

The most important thing in getting people to find your site is a domain name that matches the content.

haha yeah but that was the point. some domain name which a drunkard or dullard tries out... and then they stumble onto something completely unrelated. It was meant to be something of a joke on the user.

Thanks for the tip on creating websites, though...
