I built and maintain our website. I just code the html in notepad, but I would like to find a content management program that lets me create some of my pages using templates, and update links and manage some of my article. I like clean html and try to use css when I can but.. dont get me started on IE.
I'm not much of a programmer though.

I've just started fooling around with Joomla! and I have to give it two thumbs up. Fairly easy to get going and as customizable as the work you are willing to put into it. Good support forums and an easy fantastico install as well.

I'm using Joomla right now and I think it's outstanding. Getting it up and running is pretty straightforward, and it has tons of add-on components, integrates fairly well with other software like Wordpress, Gallery, SMF forums, etc.

Which reminds me, if you want forums, I highly recommend SMF. :)

dragonflycms is possibly the most secure.

Also have you tried http://www.opensourcecms.com/ ? It has user reviews of most cms and also allows you to try them all out without installing them on your machine or site.
