Start over...

Hi,

Since I am new at this...

I started to create a site/directory called /spware on my domain - using Fantastico (for WordPress). Umm, I made some errors. How can I delete that directory and just start over with a blank slate? Or does this need to be done by bluehost?

Inside Fantastico click on WordPress, if it is installed it will give you option for uninstalling.

Then check that the database is gone. I.e. by number of databases available, or from MySql database manager.

Then you can delete the folder using FTP, it could be already deleted for you by fantastico, so if you dont find it in /public_html/, then it is gone.

Just delete the folder and don't use Fantasticocrap for anything. It's just crap. Upload your website by ftp and do an install.

Why does everyone say that fantastico is crap and doesnt work correctly? I have never had a problem whenever I used it. Whats the deal?

I would like to know that too. I installed coppermine with fantastico, then I upgraded to the latest version and , fingers crossed, it has worked perfectly since day one
