I have WP on a domain here and now I've successfully installed WP on a sub-domain. The goal is to first create two distinct blogs using the same customized template, then tweak each copy of the template to reflect the specific content of each blog.
I've just discovered, however, that changes made to the widgets in the first domain (thepeoplesguidetomexico.com) also show up in the control panel of the sub-domain (talkaboutmexico.com).
Furthermore... the widgets that are activated and functioning in the first domain don't actually appear or work on the blog pages of the sub-domain, even though the sub-domain control panel displays them properly!
I'm quite confused at this point and haven't a clue how to fix this. Can you suggest anything?
