I see more and more sites installing it and just wondered whats so good about it.

Is it easy to set up ,change themes and update?

I run a pixel site that is always being updated and currently i do all my coding in notepad so anything that makes updating easier sounds good to me :D

It's very easy to set up (install it from Fantastico). It's also easy to add themes/mods. You simply upload them to your server & WordPress recognizes they're there...you finish installing them through WordPress (with a click of a button). To learn more go to http://www.wordpress.org. They have user manuals too. ;)

And a feature that is implemented very well in Wordpress is importing from a bunch of other blog software/sites.

I used CuteNews for a while as a blog, but WordPress is more...hmm...blog-associated. :p

Certainly. When you're installing it (through Fantastico) just place it in a new directory. For instance, your site is jcsdesignz.com, so install Wordpress into jcsdesignz.com/blog. To do that, just put 'blog' (or whatever else you want to use) in the 'Install in directory' field on the first page of the Wordpress install process. The rest of your site will remain like it was, but now if you want to play with Wordpress you just access jcsdesignz.com/blog/ and Wordpress should pop right up for you. If you don't like it, you can use Fantastico to uninstall it and the only directory that will be affected is the blog/ directory.
